handful of biocharAll Power Labs’ activated carbon is produced using only locally sourced waste biomass such as wood chips and nutshells. All of our activated-carbon is made in APL’s own proprietary, USA-designed and manufactured gasification systems.

To assure accurate carbon data and the highest quality output, real-time, online Measurement, Reporting and Verification (MRV) systems are integrated into all of our production equipment. We also maintain rigorous quality control through post-production laboratory testing of every batch of activated carbon we produce.  

Both Powdered (PAC) and Granulated (GAC) varieties are available, so whether for industrial filtration, environmental remediation, or advanced chemical processes, APL’s activated carbon delivers excellent purity and adsorption power, ensuring reliability and sustainability.

Our high-performance activated carbon has exceptional adsorption capabilities, a high iodine number, and a large surface area with extensive micro-porosity, making it ideal for removing contaminants, impurities, and unwanted compounds.
