Scientists working in the Dipartimento di Ingegneria Enzo Ferrari (Enzo Ferrari Engineering Department) at the Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE) have added a CharPallet R&D unit to their lab.
Using APL machines, their team has done extensive research over the years, studying numerous topics in the gasification and biochar space. They have done rigorous experimental validation of the gasification process and its application in a wide range of agricultural and industrial processes. From modeling of syngas upgrading for the production of hydrogen, methanol, and biodiesel (naphtha/diesel/waxes) via WGS-PSA, methanation, and Fischer-Tropsch (FT) synthesis, to emissions reduction from soil and livestock slurry, to viticulture and biomass cultivation, APL is proud to support their work advancing the science and engineering of gasification.
