We have achieved what few can: a 100% biobased product with the prestigious USDA BioPreferred Certification. Unlike conventional coconut shell activated carbon, which often goes from country to country to be processed before it is imported from China or India, our AC is produced from locally sourced waste biomass such as hazelnut and walnut shells. Our proprietary, US-designed, gasification-based technology ensures 100% domestic content, strengthening supply chain resiliency and minimizing climate impact. We are actively diverting waste into a valuable, carbon-negative product, enabling a truly circular economy.

Benchmark Performance in Filtration

Our AC is designed for maximum efficiency. Its surface area is truly impressive, with the latest testing confirming a high BET Surface Area of 790 m²/g. This ensures superior adsorption capabilities for small molecules. For air purification, our material showcases outstanding performance in capturing volatile organic compounds and gases, with absorption reaching 21.7%—passing the industry regulatory parameter of 21.4%.

Methylene Blue Testing: Surpassing Commercial Standards

Methylene Blue (MB) adsorption is a key metric for measuring mesoporosity and capturing large organic molecules and dyes. Our proprietary process produces AC that often matches or exceeds commercial-grade activated carbon. Premium AC aims for up to 150 mg/g, and our high-performance samples are pushing that limit.
