GEN3, the “Impossible” Syngas

In the industry it is known that the tars in the syngas foul the engines, making the CHP with internal combustion engines possible in theory but not really practicable in real world use cases. Until now. Yes, we have solved gasification. It’s taken almost 20 years, but we are finally there. Unlike prior generations, the GEN3 architecture produces “Green Gases” so clean, they open an unprecedented world of possibilities for small-scale CHP and gas up-migration.

The New Standard of Purity: Ultra-Clean Output

The heart of this breakthrough is the patented Swirl Hearth Cracker Reactor, featuring a core innovation: the internal tar cracking Swirl Chamber. This innovation—achieved through a novel separation of gasses and solids at critical conversion points—results in:

  • Ultra-Clean Gas Production: Unparalleled clean gas output across a much wider operating range, setting a new standard for quality.
  • A Leap Beyond: These results are not achievable in any fixed bed and nozzle type reactors like the Imbert.

Tailored for Transformation: Customized Small Scale Gas Up-migration

The Charpallet with GEN3 reactor is more than a gasifier; it is an operational platform that gives you all the “levers to pull” to precisely craft your gas output. Our key features are:

  • Hydrogen (H₂) Output: Starts at ~25% H₂, which is significantly higher than most Imbert reactors. By utilizing steam injection, which is foundational to this reactor, and running a combined steam/O₂ input, the H₂ content can exceed 50%.
  • Purity: The ability to add combined steam/O₂ results in a gas that is N₂ diluent-free. This is an output not possible with blown air alone. The resulting high hydrogen syngas is perfect for your most ambitious experiments and Up-migration to pure H₂, Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), or as feed gas for Gas-to-Liquids (GTL) is now possible

Through modular add-ons like the Steam Generation unit (specifically for hydrogen enrichment) and integrated Gas & Emissions Analysis, the GEN3 ensures you have the control of the processes and data necessary to transform simple syngas into small scale and distributed high-value Green Gases right where they are most needed.
